We are a small family who are second-generation tourist hosts. Since 1974 we have received tourists as guests in our cabins and houses.

Timberlid is an excellent starting point for hikes in forests and mountain areas, and for daytrips to Nærøyfjorden, Flåmsbana, Jostedalsbreen, Jotunheimen and the stave churches.

Since the beginning of the 1970 ies we have developed our tourist business. Our guests’ comments during these years are that they appreciate cabins situated on a quiet farm with wonderful surroundings.
